Privacy policy

This policy explains how Nitido ("Nitido", "we") uses personal data when you visit nitido.co.uk, book a clean or contact us. We are the controller of that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you book or contact us we collect your name, email address, phone number, the address to be cleaned, access and property details you choose to give, and the details of your booking. When you pay, card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Our website also records basic technical information such as IP address and browser type for security.

Why we use it

We use your data to provide the clean you booked (contract), to send confirmations and service messages (contract), to keep financial records (legal obligation), and to prevent fraud and misuse of our website (legitimate interests). We only send marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: the cleaning team assigned to your booking; Stripe (payments); Brevo (email delivery); and Hostinger (website and database hosting). Each acts under a contract that protects your data. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for six years to meet UK tax requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after two years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask to move it to another provider. Email info@nitido.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
